Postage stamps Switzerland

Switzerland is a landlocked federal state in Central Europe. Today, it consists of 26 cantons with their own laws and customs. The issue of common postage stamps in a country with four official languages was solved by using the country's name in Latin: Helvetia (derived from a Celtic tribe). In recent years, Switzerland has become a pioneer of many innovative solutions in philatelic technology.
