Postage stamps of Guernsey

Guernsey is the second largest island in the English Channel near the coast of Normandy. Guernsey is a dependent territory of the United Kingdom, which established its own postal administration with its own stamps in 1969. The first postage stamps of Guernsey depicted portraits of medieval monarchs.
