Jubilee Cross Franz Joseph I - 1848-1908, new ribbon, gilded brass. 2/2/1 The cross was established by a special letter from Emperor Franz Joseph on 29.9.1908, with the date of awarding on the 60th anniversary of his reign (2.12.1908). The cross was divided into three groups, differing only in name and ribbon color. The design of the cross was created by the renowned medalist Professor Rudolf Marschall (1873-1967). The decoration is in the shape of a cross with flared arms towards the edges, with a diameter of about 37 mm, and a laurel wreath placed between the arms. In the center of the cross is a circular medallion with a diameter of 20 mm, featuring a portrait of the monarch in a marshal's uniform, facing left. To the left of him is a small inscription FRANC.IOS.I (Emperor Franz Joseph). In a few rare cases, the designer's mark R.Marschall is on the right side. The reverse is smooth with the inscription 1848 – 1908 in two lines. It was made of gilded brass.
