The book has 624 pages. Transcript from the introduction of the catalog Czechoslovakia 1918 - 1939 Dear colleagues – collectors. It is customary at this place to clarify to readers in a few words who, what, and for what purpose the publication was prepared and published. Given that our catalog is primarily intended for those who have some experience with philately, a more extensive analysis is probably unnecessary. We wanted to summarize the existing knowledge about Czechoslovak stamps of the First Republic in one book as clearly and comprehensively as possible. This does not mean that beginners cannot use this catalog – basic data on a raster background at the beginning of each chapter is intended for them. Specialized collectors, up to the level of higher specialization, will find more detailed information about deviations divided by types in the respective sections of the chapters. Described and evaluated are color or perforation variants of stamps, their types, plate and production errors, types of paper, plate marks, edge pieces, blocks of four, unpublished stamps, trial prints, and other curiosities. Other types of stamps (airmail, postage due, newspaper, SO 1920, and others) are processed at a similar level as postage stamps. The texts are accompanied by a number of references to literature where those interested in highly specialized and study collecting can find more detailed information. The book is in the Czech language. Published by: Merkur-Revue
