Material: outer part: copper-nickel (Cu75/Ni25) inner part: (three-layer) nickel-brass (Cu75/Zn20/Ni5) / nickel (Ni12) / nickel-brass (Cu75/Zn20/Ni5) Diameter: 25.75 mm Thickness: 2.20 mm Weight: 8.50 g Quality: standard Quantity: 4,000,000 pcs issue date: August 13, 2018 Specification: Enrico De Nicola, the provisional head of state, signs the declaration of the constitution of the Italian Republic on December 27, 1947. To his right stands Prime Minister Alcide de Gasperi, to his left Umberto Terracini, president of the constituent assembly of Italy. Above them is the inscription "COSTITUZIONE" and the monogram of the Italian Republic "RI". At the bottom is the inscription "CON SICURA COSCIENZA", "R", the mint mark in Rome, and the dates "1948 • 2018", the first of which indicates the year the Italian Constitution came into force and the second signifies the year the coin was issued. The outer ring of the coin features twelve stars of the European Union flag.
