Specification
The fujara is a unique Slovak folk wooden musical instrument. It is an exceptionally long flute with three finger holes. It was mainly played by shepherds, but it was also used on festive and mourning occasions. The body of the fujara consists of two interconnected parts – the flute tube (usually 160 – 200 cm long) and the air duct (50 – 80 cm long tube). It is often covered with ornamental decoration, using vegetative motifs or archaic ribbon ornament, which has been preserved mainly on bobbin lace from Podpoľanie. In addition to fujaras of regular size, small and double fujaras are also made. Each of them reflects the unique qualities of its creator and player. Fujara music is characterized by deep tones produced by the lower register and very high overtones, which the length of the instrument allows. The period player on the fujara alternated playing with singing. Fujara music also found its way into the works of music composers, such as Svetozár Stračina. This musical instrument and its music are among the unique components of the intangible cultural heritage not only of Slovakia but of all humanity.

Obverse side:
On the obverse of the collector euro coin, a musician playing the fujara is depicted in a decorative frame. To the left of the decorative frame is the state emblem of the Slovak Republic. Above it, in three lines, is the name of the state "SLOVAKIA" and in two lines the designation of the nominal value of the collector euro coin "100 EURO". Folk ornamental elements are at both the left and right edges of the collector euro coin. At the bottom of the coin field is the year "2021".

Reverse side:
On the reverse of the collector euro coin, a composition of fragments of the fujara with rich ornamental decoration and its functional details is depicted in a decorative frame. The stylized initials of the author of the collector euro coin Mgr. art. Peter Valach "PV" and the mark of the Kremnica Mint, a state enterprise, consisting of the abbreviation "MK" placed between two dies, are to the left of the composition. In the right part of the coin field, in seven lines, is the inscription "INTANGIBLE CULTURAL HERITAGE" compositionally complemented by folk ornamental elements. At the bottom of the coin field is the inscription "FUJARA".
