Specification:
The European Ice Hockey Championship, or as it was called at the time, Canadian hockey, was originally supposed to be played in Prague in 1925. However, the weather intervened, and thus the first major hockey event with the participation of national teams on our territory took place from January 8 to 11, 1925, at Štrbské Pleso and in Starý Smokovec. The weather also complicated life for the organizers in the High Tatras. Despite its whims, they eventually managed to successfully handle the championship. Teams from Czechoslovakia, Belgium, Austria, and Switzerland participated in the championship. The title of European champions was won by the Czechoslovak representatives. By holding the European Championship in Canadian hockey in the High Tatras, this sport was officially introduced in Slovakia for the first time. Until then, bandy hockey, played on ice with a ball, was popular here, but after the European Championship, Canadian hockey became significantly popularized in Slovakia.

Obverse:
On the obverse of the collector's euro coin, a positional snapshot of a hockey action in front of the goal with a defending goalkeeper and a hockey player ready to intervene in the match in Starý Smokovec is captured in the composition. To the right of the composition is the state emblem of the Slovak Republic. To the left of the goalkeeper is the mark of the Kremnica Mint, a state enterprise, consisting of the abbreviation MK placed between two dies, and to the right of him are the stylized initials of the author of the artistic design, Karol Ličko KL. In the lower part of the coin field is the inscription of the state name SLOVAKIA and the year 2025.

Reverse:
On the reverse of the collector's euro coin is a hockey player in motion dressed in period equipment. In the background is the panorama of the High Tatras mountain range. In the lower part of the coin field is the nominal value of the collector's euro coin 10 EURO in two lines. In the upper part of the coin field is the inscription CHAMPIONSHIP, which is supplemented in the lower part of the coin field with the inscription text EUROPE IN HOCKEY and the year 1925.
