Specification:
Jozef Kroner (20. 3. 1924 – 12. 3. 1998) began his professional career at the Martin Theatre (1948-1956). The characters he portrayed during this period taught him to seek the essential human element in a character, which is not related to age but to the personal disposition of the individual. Thanks to this approach, he quickly distinguished himself as a character actor with the ability to play various variations of internally complex characters while capturing both the private and social aspects of the portrayed character. The second line consisted of comedic characters, where his performance was dominated by infectious and sparkling comedy, natural ease, and joy of play. At the Slovak National Theatre (1956-1984), the persuasiveness and humanizing power of his acting expression were further enhanced, resonating fully in his radio, television, and film work. For the role of Tóno Brtko in the film The Shop on Main Street, he received a special recognition at the Cannes Film Festival in 1965 (the film itself won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film in 1966). In 1978, he was awarded the title of National Artist, and in 2018, the Pribina Cross I. Class (posthumously).

Obverse:
On the obverse of the collector's euro coin is a film strip as a reference to Jozef Kroner's film and television work, with the central figure of Tóno Brtko, whom he portrayed in the film The Shop on Main Street. In the left panel of the film strip, a reference to the theater, where Jozef Kroner spent a significant part of his professional life, is expressed through a theatrical mask, curtain, and stage boards. In the right panel of the film strip is the state emblem of the Slovak Republic, above it the year 2024, and at the bottom the mark of the Kremnica Mint, a state enterprise, consisting of the abbreviation MK placed between two dies and the stylized initials of the collector's euro coin designer Tomáš Lamač, Dis. TL. The name of the state SLOVAKIA is at the top of the coin field, and at the bottom is the nominal value of 10 EURO.

Reverse:
On the reverse of the collector's euro coin is a portrait of Jozef Kroner, below which is a facsimile of his signature complemented by a drawing of a fish referring to his passion for fishing. To the left of the portrait is the name and surname JOZEF KRONER in two lines, and to the right in two lines are the dates of birth and death of Jozef Kroner 1924 and 1998.
