Initially with short films for WEEK IN FILM and from 1965 with several animated films. In all of them, he applied his characteristic style – brevity in drawing, emphasis on narrative, cartoon humor, and animated gags. He simultaneously engaged in caricature, illustration, journalism, and writing. Later, he also appeared in talk shows and as a film actor. He created many films awarded both domestically and internationally. Among the most successful are the series about JANKO HRAŠKO, DITA, and CHESS. He also created the first Slovak feature-length animated film BANDIT JURKO. Over 200 films he made were characterized by a foreign critic with the words: "Imagination stimulates further imagination, and Kubal's animation enchants everyone." Obverse: On the obverse of the collector's euro coin is the figure of the bandit Juraj Jánošík from Viktor Kubal's animated film Bandit Jurko, complemented by a film strip depicting a walking figure of another bandit from this film. The name of the state SLOVAKIA is above the film strip, and below it is the year 2023. In the right part of the coin field is the national emblem of the Slovak Republic. The mark of the Kremnica Mint, a state enterprise, is in the middle window of the film strip, and in the window on the right are the stylized initials of the collector's euro coin designer Karol Ličko KL. The nominal value of the collector's euro coin 10 EURO is in two lines in the upper part of the coin field. Reverse: On the reverse of the collector's euro coin is a portrait of Viktor Kubal, complemented on the left side by characters from Viktor Kubal's animated series Puf and Muf, and on the right in two lines the years of his birth and death 1923 and 1997.
