Specification:
Janko Kráľ (24. 4. 1822 – 23. 5. 1876) – Slovak poet, representative of romantic poetry. He wrote ballads and dumy, expanding the genre with motifs of the author's reflections on himself, the world, and events, as well as impressive descriptions of nature. He came from Liptovský Mikuláš and during his studies at the Evangelical Lyceum in Bratislava, he became one of the most radical poets of the Štúr generation. In 1848, he welcomed and praised the revolution, agitated the people, for which he was imprisoned. In the following years of his life, he worked as a state official. Alongside, he occasionally created, sporadically published in magazines, but no longer engaged politically. He experienced decisive political events of the revolution in 1848 – 49 and at the beginning of the 60s – he participated in the Memorandum assembly and the ceremonial act of founding Matica slovenská in Turčiansky Sv. Martin. All these events connected with his own experiences were captured in his poems – dumy. Janko Kráľ's work, scattered in periodicals, was published collectively and in various selections only posthumously. Literary science ranks Janko Kráľ among the most significant European romantic poets.

Obverse side:
On the obverse of the collector's euro coin is the title of Janko Kráľ's ballad "The Enchanted Maiden in the Váh and Strange Janko" with a fictional portrait of the enchanted maiden with loose wavy hair symbolizing the waves of the Váh river. To the left of the portrait are the stylized initials of the author of the artistic design of the collector's euro coin Branislav Ronai BR and the mark of the Kremnica Mint, a state enterprise, which consists of the abbreviation MK placed between two dies. Above the portrait is the state emblem of the Slovak Republic and the year of minting 2022. In the upper part of the coin field is the designation of the nominal value of the collector's euro coin 10 EURO and below it the name of the state SLOVAKIA.

Reverse side:
On the reverse of the collector's euro coin is a fictional portrait of Janko Kráľ. To the left of him is the inscription of his first and last name JANKO KRÁĽ. To the right are the years of his birth and death 1822 – 1876.
