Specification
Dušan Samuel Jurkovič (23. 8. 1868 – 21. 12. 1947) is one of the most prominent figures in Slovak architecture of the 20th century. His numerous and diverse works, characterized by a distinctive authorial expression, became part of the multifaceted process of forming modern Slovak architecture. At the end of the 19th century, he designed buildings that are among his most famous works inspired by folklore – Pustevny on Radhošť. In 1928, he created one of the iconic works of modern architecture – the Milan Rastislav Štefánik Mound on Bradlo. His ideas in the field of memorial creation were fully reflected in this work. Jurkovič's versatility is also evidenced by the industrial buildings he created in the 1930s. Among them, the cable car stations on Lomnický štít in the High Tatras hold a special position.

Obverse:
On the obverse of the coin are depicted two of Dušan Samuel Jurkovič's top architectural works – the Milan Rastislav Štefánik Mound on Bradlo and the summit station of the cable car on Lomnický štít. The state emblem of the Slovak Republic is at the bottom of the coin field. Below it, in two lines, are the year 2018 and the name of the state SLOVAKIA. The designation of the nominal value of the coin 10 EURO is at the top of the coin field. The stylized initials of the coin's design author Karol Ličko KL and the mark of the Kremnica Mint, consisting of the abbreviation MK placed between two dies, are to the right of the mound.

Reverse:
On the reverse of the coin is a portrait of Dušan Samuel Jurkovič, which is complemented in the upper right and lower part of the coin field by motifs of stained glass from his architectural works. Between the stained glass are the names and surname "DUŠAN SAMUEL JURKOVIČ" and the dates of his birth and death 1868 – 1947.
